By accessing or using the website of Public Union Pakistan ("PUP," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
PUP is a non-political and non-legal civic organization. We provide a platform for citizens to highlight community issues (e.g., sanitation, infrastructure) and to organize volunteer efforts. We are not a government body, a law enforcement agency, or a legal firm.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform. By using this site, you represent that you are of legal age and have the capacity to agree to these terms.
You agree to use this platform solely for civic betterment. You explicitly agree NOT to:
• Use the platform to promote, campaign for, or fund any political party, politician, or political ideology.
• Submit false, defamatory, or fabricated complaints.
• Use any submitted complaint as a substitute for formal legal action, a court filing, or an FIR (First Information Report).
• Upload malicious code, spam, or violate the rights of others.
Complaints: Submitting a complaint through our platform does not guarantee resolution. We act as a facilitator to amplify civic voices, but we do not have the authority to force government departments to take action.
Volunteering: Signing up as a volunteer does not create an employer-employee relationship. Volunteers participate at their own risk and discretion.
If you submit text, photos, or videos (e.g., a picture of a broken road), you grant PUP a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, share, and publish that content strictly for the purpose of resolving the civic issue or showcasing our work. You retain ownership of your content.
To the maximum extent permitted by Pakistani law, PUP, its founders, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, your participation in volunteer activities, or the failure of authorities to resolve a submitted complaint.
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
